3. Public data

Publishing a listing makes its public details visible, including property images, description, price, selected area, features, advertiser type, and contact details the advertiser chooses to show. Do not publish personal information you do not want displayed publicly.

4. Listing images and marketing

Uploading listing images does not automatically authorise Mulk to use them in marketing. Social media or paid promotional use requires separate, explicit consent and does not include your personal name, phone number, or portrait without appropriate separate permission.

5. Analytics and cookies

Mulk may use cookies and technical identifiers for sign-in, language preferences, and performance measurement. We use services such as PostHog for aggregate analytics and Sentry for error diagnosis while minimising data and respecting available privacy controls.

• The mulk-locale cookie remembers your language.
• The session cookie keeps you signed in according to session settings.
• We do not sell search or browsing history or use it to create a personal advertising profile.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We process or share only what is necessary with providers of hosting, databases, image storage, maps, analytics, error monitoring, messaging, and security. We may disclose data when required by law or a valid legal request from a competent authority.

7. Contacting advertisers

Selecting phone, WhatsApp, or another external link moves communication to another service or party, whose own privacy practices also apply.

8. Retention

We retain data as needed to provide the service, secure accounts, resolve complaints, prevent fraud, and meet legal duties. Account deletion removes associated data, while anonymised moderation records or encrypted backups may remain temporarily until replaced in the normal backup cycle.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, change, disclosure, loss, or misuse. No electronic system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We handle incidents and provide legally required notifications.

10. Your rights and account deletion

You may review and correct your data, update account and listing details, withdraw marketing consent, and delete your account from Account → Delete account in the app. If you cannot sign in, email privacy@mulk.ps using an account-linked contact method so ownership can be verified.

11. Property location

Property coordinates can be sensitive. Advertisers choose exact, approximate, or area-level display. Approximate and area display show visitors a rounded point rather than the exact coordinates.

12. Third-party services

Mulk may include maps and links to services such as WhatsApp. Mulk does not control those services’ privacy practices, which you should review before use.

13. Children

Property publication and transactions are not directed to children. A minor’s use that creates legal obligations must be supervised by a guardian or legal representative as required by law.

14. Policy changes

We may update this policy when the service, processing practices, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date are published here.
