Important warning
Never pay any money online or before seeing the property in person. Mir'ah never asks you for any payments. If someone asks you to pay a fee to "reserve" a property, it is a scam.
Safety guidelines
Never pay before the viewing
The most important rule: never pay any amount — deposit, rent, or fees — before you see the property in person and confirm the owner's identity.
Look for the verification badge
Verified owners carry a blue badge ✅. This means we have confirmed their identity by phone and ID.
Verify the phone number
Call the owner before visiting. If the number goes unanswered or you get redirected to someone else, that is a warning sign.
Beware of internet photos
Some scammers use photos from the internet for fake properties. Ask for recent photos or a live video before visiting.
Sign an official contract
For any rental or sale, sign an official contract certified by a lawyer or an accredited notary. Don't rely on a verbal agreement.
Bring someone with you
Try to bring someone you trust to the first viewing. If possible, hold it during daylight hours.
Verify property ownership
For a sale, verify the title deed (Tabu) at the Land Registry to make sure the seller is the true owner.
Report suspicious listings
If you find a suspicious listing or encounter fraud, use the "Report" button on the listing page. We follow up on every report seriously.
